First, I fixed a problem that has been getting steadily worse at work. The receipt printer on one of the registers has been randomly kicking itself offline, and I've even had transactions declined because of it. I complained to Management about it, and they responded by swapping it out with the other register. Which obviously didn't fix the problem ( Read more... )

Last night my nephew came in to the gas station where I was working. It'd been a year or three since I'd seen him, but I still recognized him, despite his having changed quite a bit.
